Richard Basis has created and produced some of the best television and movie marketing campaigns over the past 30 years. From his early Key Art Award winning spots for “In The Line of Fire” and “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” to his most recent Promax Award winning promos for “Trial & Error” and “Mr. Robot”, his work and reputation has continued to distinguish itself. His experience in the entertainment advertising industry is unique and extensive, including movie trailers, sizzle reels, EPK’s, radio spots, print ads, online marketing and on-air promos.
He has worked inside the networks at NBC and CBS. He’s worked for motion picture advertising agencies Craig Murray Productions, Creative Domain, and Aspect Ratio, servicing such clients as The Disney Studios, Sony Pictures, MGM, and Warner Bros. Most recently, he was senior vice-president at Lussier working with clients like USA, EPIX, TNT, TBS, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures Television, 21st Century Television and all of the broadcast networks. This is also where he conceived, wrote and co-produced the prime time special, “Pretty Little Liars: A-List Wrap Party”.
While Richard continues his working relationship with Lussier, he is now (for the first time in a long time) available to write, produce and consult directly with clients, agencies and talented people.
If you’re looking for entertainment marketing expertise, the first name you should think of is Basis.
